Attention all surf chicks and those of you (women) who just want to hit the coast for the weekend, Ennischrone Beach is calling you for a ‘Wet & Wild’ weekend!
On 29th and 30th May the Irish Surfing Association will be hosting its annual womens surfing weekend in Ennischrone, Co. Sligo in conjunction with the Irish Sports Council.
Wet and Wild Water Women is an opportunity to learn to surf – or to improve your skills – under the watchful eyes of some of Ireland’s top female surfers. It doesn’t matter if your a beginner or a seasoned surfer the weekend caters for all.
The weekend is about learning, inspiring others and sharing different experiences from both Irish shores and further abroad. Once the sun goes down the party gets going! the music gets pumping, the BBQ gets sparked up and drinks start a-flowing!
Activities will kick off at Enniscrone beach at 11am on Saturday 29th with surfing lessons for beginners (all equipment provided) and coaching for improvers. There will be a lunchtime beach barbecue on Saturday followed by a Hawaiian Party at the Ocean Sand Hotel at 9pm. Surfing will run from 11.00am until 4.00pm on Sunday.
The event is free and there is no requirement to book, just turn up!
