Who said there were no surfable waves in Limerick? The Curragower River Wave is found in the heart of Limerick city under the shadow of King John’s Castle on the River Shannon. The wave has been traditionally surfed by kayakers but in recent times more and more board surfers are taking advantage of this unique wave which can stay consistent for up to four hours at a time! Check out surfers Paul Deering and Kalani Moore having some seriously good fun on the wave. For more action from the lads, check out their Facebook page Irish Go-Pro Lads.
