Surf Therapy in Ireland

This short documentary brings to life the challenges that can be overcome through Surf Therapy. The stats in this video are staggering; approximately 3.5% of children in Ireland have a disability. Unfortunately less than 38% participate in their recommended 60 minutes of physical activity a day.

The benefits surfing can have for children with disabilities in Ireland are huge. Surfing allows children who may not believe they can partake in physical activity to get exercise and have fun catching a few waves.

This is good news for all children with disabilities and their families. For more information on Surf Therapy contact one of the many surf schools around the country and check out Liquid Therapy.
